A nice limestone quarry, with about 35 routes ranging from DIFF to Extreme, with a good selection of DIFFS and V DIFFS. South facing and dries out quickly. Definately worth a visit for the DIFF to VS climber. |

| Directions: | OS 85 GR NY 250 408 Alt. 300m 5.5 miles south of Wigton. From Mealsgate on the A595, take the B5299 to Boltongate, continue for 1.5 miles and turn left to Sandale. After about 100 yards, take the right fork, go up the hill, and follow the road around to the quarry on the right near the top of the hill. |
