About The Jack Rock (OS):

A sandstone crag with about 30 routes of 40 feet in the grades Severe and upwards. It is quite steep and does not lend itself to easy routes. Well worth a visit.
Nearest town or city: Amble-by-the-Sea
Directions: OS 81 GR NU 235 044 Alt. 13m
2 miles west of Amble-by-the-Sea. From Acklington to the south take a small road leading north for a mile and a half and turn off left to Morwick Mill. The crag is downstream on the South bank in about a five minute walk.
