About Burbage Edge (OS):

Two distinct edges make up Burbage. The North Edge and South Edge are approached differently. Solid gritstone with some amazing routes on all the faces and buttresses. If there is a pebble sticking out, it has probably been climbed, same for all of the seams. There are at least 300 routes on both edges combined, and some fantastic bouldering, with endless traverses being the star attraction! This edge gets sun most of the day, and is more sheltered than Stanage. Both edges are easily accessed from the road, with some climbs only a minute from the road. Excellent crags!!!
