About Burbage South & Quarries (OS):

A gritstone crag that consists of both an edge and a quarry. About 150 routes covering all grades, with some AWESOME Extremes. The Cioch Block in the South Quarry is a spectacular piece of rock! 20 to 50 feet in height with some of the best bouldering around. Sections are listed from right to left, as you walk AWAY from the road. |

| Directions: | OS 110 GR SK 268 812 Alt. 373m 2.4 miles east of Hathersage. Take the A625 east, and after 2.5 miles the road bends sharp right, park on the left just past here. A footpath leads left to the quarry, with the edge just beyond. |
