The steepest gritstone outcrop in England. About 40 routes in all grades, but mostly VS and above. Up to 50 feet in places on extremely rough rock. it will tear your hands to pieces. South facing, friendly place, GREAT CRAG! |

Directions: | OS 110 GR SK 257 819 Alt. 414m About 2 miles east of Hathersage. Take the A625 east from Hathersage, and turn left after the pub at 1 mile. Follow this to a junction after about two miles and Higgar Tor will be up to the right, best approached from above. |
