About Tegness Quarries (OS):

The Tegness Quarries stand about 300 feet apart at the southern end of the Longshaw Estate, and are a prominent feature on the skyline when seen from Grindleford. They combine an attractive position with unattractive rock. The rock in the Pinnacle Quarry is better than the rock in the North Quarry. Belays at the tops of routes are difficult to find.
