About North Quarry (OS):
A blackstone slab quarry with walls from 50 to 150 feet high. About 20 routes, most in the Extreme grades. Not a bad crag, but north facing, tough on cold days. The climbing is on the right wall of the quarry. |

Directions: | OS 182 GR ST 386 563 Alt. 71m Three miles west of Axbridge. This quarry is easily seen from the M5, five miles after Junction 21. From Axbridge, turn off on the A38 to the right at the small village of Cross, and go towartds Compton Bishop. Continue on the small road at the base of the hill without going into Compton Bishop. Before the motorway, bear around to the right, and the quarry will be seen on the right in about 200 yards. |
