About Wyndcliffe (OS):

Two limestone crags up in the trees above the A466, out of sight and sound to the road below. A nice place to enjoy the sun on a winter's day. About 60 routes, HS and harder, and about 150 feet tall. Some nice VS routes up the middle, but be careful, the rappell descent is difficult.
Nearest town or city: Chepstow
Directions: OS 162 GR ST 528 974 Alt. 189m 2.5 miles north of Chepstow (actually in Wales). Take the A466 out of Chepstow from the Rcaecourse Roundabout. Follow this road for 2 miles and ignore the sign to Wyndcliffe and follow the road around to the right. Continue for half a mile to a Forestry Commission car park and take the lane forking left up to a small car park in about 200 feet. A path leads up and right into the woods, 10 minutes to the crag.
