About Ash Tree Crag(OS):

A good crag for the not-so-hard climber having trouble with the almost always vertical and overhanging limestone of Yorkshire. South facing and quick to dry, and up to 50 feet tall. Around 25 routes from DIFF to VS, but most in the easier grades. Well worth a visit.
Nearest town or city: Ingleton
Directions: OS98--GR758/376 Four miles southeast of Ingleton. Drive to Clapham and park. Take the horse path heading southeast towards Austwick from the north end of town, and after about 300 yards, turn left on to a track called Long Lane, where the crag will be up on the right about 700 yards away.
