About Pen Y Ghent(OS):

This is the gritstone outcrop with the most exposure in Yorkshire. A crag of mixed quality with about 20 or so routes ranging from DIFF to VS, and about 80 feet tall. The rock in some places is not firm, so care should be used, and helmets should be worn. At 200 feet and west facing, it is best in the summer. On the east side is a limestone outcrop with a couple of 100 foot routes of dubious quality going at VS and E2.
