About Rolling Gate(OS):
A nice secluded crag with about 20 to 25 routes in the lower grades, DIFF to HS, up to 70 feet high. Situated high on the moor at 1300 feet and northwest facing, it can get rather cold, but on a nice day it is a pleasant cliff to climb easy or solo on. Some good easy bouldering can be found here also. |

Directions: | OS98--GR001/602 Six miles NNE of Skipton. Drive to the small village of Thorpe, and at the south end of the village follow a track that leads south up the hill, then bear around to the right. The crag is about one mile from the end of the track. A bit of a hike, but worth it for the seclusion. |
