About Lavigny:
Small limestone crag on a former quarry. The 12 or so routes are slabs, from 5.5 (3 or 4 routes, good pocketed) to 5.10c (2 routes, friction), 20 meter high. The rock is a bit polished at the bottom. The main interest of this small cliff is to be 15 minutes from where I live and to be a good training for slab climbing. Otherwise, it's where the young persons from the village gather on saturday evenings, so you will find some broken glass everywhere under the routes... This area doesn't deserve a trip but if you really want to climb all the slabs from Jura!!! |
