About La Capelle (bouldering):
La Capelle is a small bouldering area near Uzès (45 km northeast of Nîmes and 40 km northwest of Avignon) offering 300 problems on a redish coarse sandstone or sometimes quartzite, ranging from F2 to F8a. The area is divided in sections of boulders, not so easy to distinguish one from each other. The area is also called the Chaos of La Capelle or "La Baume des Gaulois"...
La Capelle is on a private land and is on top of a small and peaceful village, so please RESPECT A FEW EASY RULES : no fire, park on the church place and nowhere else, respect the no trespassing signs, spare chalk. |
