About Forêt de Mervent:

20 km north of Fontenay-le-Comte, in the Deux-Sèvres (79) département, Mervent is a limestone cliff located in a forest (watch for tickes there!). The routes are from 10 to 30 meter high, sport climbing style. It's an excellent area for beginners, but a good place for experimented climbers too. |
