About La Guignoterie:

La Guignoterie is a limestone cliff located on the left (west) bank of the river l'Anglin before it goes into the river La Creuse. Facing east, it looks towards 2 other smaller cliffs on the other bank of the river : La Dube and Rives. La Guignoterie is good in all seasons but winter time so ; the two other crags, facing west are better then. 140 sport climbing single-pitch routes are dispatched on 12 different sections. 36 routes are in or under the 5.9 grade (up to 5c), 53 routes between 5.10a and 5.11b, none over 5.14. The length of the route is under 30 m , so a 60m rope is enough. |

| Directions: | From Châtellerault, take route D14 southeastwards to Angles-sur-Anglin (35 km), then drive southwestwards to Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé (3 km). From Poitiers, drive eastwards to Chauvigny on N151 (5 km), then northeastwards on route D2 to Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé (20 km). When in Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé, go to Puygirault, where you go a bit north along the river to the parking of the crags. |
