Climbing gym west of Koeln (Cologne) in the Frechen neighbohood. takes about 20 minutes to get to it from the Innenstadt (city center) by car

Open every day from 10am to 11pm.

Very many routes with set topropes that are kept practically new. Some of the the more overhanging routes are forbidden to beginners to avoid bottoming out. probably about 150 routes in color coded top quality holds with some artificially made cracks and laybacks. routes are about 14 meters high ranging in dificulty from 3 to 10

Also has a bouldering room with very effective padding, campus rings, a training board and a wall with a bunch of training boards that allow you to get every kind of workout you can think of.

adult admission runs at €9,50
Student admission is €8,50. ISIC student cards are accepted.
A "10er" pass costs 85.50 and is good for 10 entrances. Student 10er pass costs 76.50
There are also 3, 6 and 12 month passes with monthly payments of 46, 44 and 42 euros respectively, student prices for these passes are approximately €5 cheaper in each case.
Children from 6 to 14 pay €5 with a 10er pass for €58.50, children under 6 do not pay. all children under 14 must have adult supervision

The number 7 line of the Cologne Straßenbahn system goes thru frechen. You can catch this train at the Neumarkt station in the city center, almost all the trains of cologne pass thru this station. From Neumarkt station take the #7 train and make sure it says Frechen on the front as not all the trains go that far, trains leave every hour at 4, 24 and 44 minutes past the hour on weekdays except between 4:30 to 5:30 pm where all trains run to Frechen. Weekends they run every 30 minutes at 14 and 44 minutes past the hour. Once on the train, stay on until you reach the Frechen Kirche station. Get off at this station and walk by the side of the church and follow the street just west of it. This street comes to an end in another street, turn left here, you will be forced to cross to the other side within a bit via a streetlight that may not be working, pressing the button will activate it. Follow the street until you reach a railroad crossing, cross it and follow the road until you reach Ernst-Heinrich-Geist Str, it is the only two lane road stemming from the road you´re on, turn left and follow it to the roundabout, you will see the gym there. You can also walk due east of the station to the intersection of Alfred Nobel and kölner Str., follow Alfred nobel street south until you reach the above mentioned railroad crossing. this way is slightly longer.

The trip from Neumarkt to the door of the gym should take no more than 25 minutes
