There are at least 5 small quarries in this area. They are holes in a farmer's field. I have visited one of these quarries Schwarzer Zircle. It has about 30 routes from 5.9 to 5.13. Many are natural gear, establish bottom up onsight.
Approach: This is the description for Schwarzer Zircle. From the main Ettringen area, head back toward Mayen for less than a mile. Part way down the hill, there are some quarry stones and a path/field entrance left. Park here, wall a few hundred yards, and cut left over a fence, and past a few trees. There is a 5.5 down climb into the quarry. Rap possible from RE-Bar.
