About Perticara:
There are two crags, one that is in the shade until 3 p.m., the other one facing south. This way there is a crag for any season of the year. The routes are protected with cemented bolts. The rock is made of sand stone and only the frequently climbed routes are clean and fun. All other routes are rather ugly (flaking sand crusts), and some that were rated 6B may now be 7A or 6A depending how the breaking holds have changed the route. Anyway, overly well protected. |
