About Bette:

Multipitch granite slabs. Great practice for the footwork. Topo at www.campingacquafraggia.com/bette_en.html .
Approach: From the center of Chiavenna, drive towards Spluga past the church of Bette, parking on the left side of the road. Walk further out of town, right onto "Via per Uggia" (just after a fountain). Take this small road, continue on switchback, take the dirt road on the left. Walk past a farm house. At some point a small trail branches off to the right (looks private but isn't). Follow this trail past some ruins, at some point a trail will head up to the crag, leading you to routes 2 and 3 in the topo.
