About El Vellón:

It is a small area near Madrid (about 50 km) away. The rock is a soft limestone. All routes are bolted. Climb here is very explosive and overhanged although some technical slabs can be found. Most routes are shorter than 15 meters. Grades from 5.9 to 5.14c. "Vivac" is allowed.
Nearest town or city: Madrid
Directions: Following the NI from Madrid, turn aside to Pedrezuela. Take there the road to Guadalix. Four km after you will find a parking. Take the road walking down to the dam. It is five minutes away from the parking.
