About Fiescherhorn 4,048m:

Another 4,000er with the most impressive freature being its Fiescherwand, the North face, running for 1,200m with rock and ice and high objective danger due to poor rock quality.

From the summit you have an impressive view of the Eiger's South face as well as most other 4000enders of the range - Jungfrau, Monch, Finster, Aletchhorn. It is a worthwhile ski touring objective from either Konkordia or Finsteraahorn hutte. Last 100m are a PD arrete route done with or w/o a rope (see the South-East Ridge route).
