Furka
Nice pass in the center heart of Switzerland. A little bit less touristy than such places as Grindelwald or Zermatt, but offers enough to keep even the most refined mountaineer or rock climber satisfied. Offers some splendid granite climbing amongst the Alps.

There are two huts - Sidelenhutte, run by the Gisler family (man they can cook!) and the Albert Heim hutte. Sidelenhutte is 1h from the car, with 30 min to such jewels as the Hanibal tower or the Chli Bielenhorn. Heim hutte is further from the car and further from the climbing - but when you get to Grauwand you still are happy to look up or climb Conquest, Kalypso or other Remy brothers' realizations.
