About Salbit:
This fantastic granite area around the Salbitschijen (2980m) offers routes with a total of more than 200 pitches. From the Salbithütte (Salbit hut) at 2105m altitude, you can reach the lower walls with routes between 1 and 4 pitches in 20min, or you may go for one of the routes leading to the top with approach times of 1h and more.
Salbit offers the following sections: The main peak Salbitschijen with the west, south and east arete (~20 pitches), which include the towers I - V, the tooth, the twin tower and the famous needle on the top. 1000m of climbing. 25+ routes, mostly 6x, easiest route to the summit is 5a. (West-, Süd-, Ostgrat, Türme I - V, Zahn, Zwillingsturm).
