About Wales:
This is the place to come if you are after information about climbing in Wales. With your help this will be the best reference page on the net. Thanks to Polarwid who has added a great number of routes, you should have no problems finding a place to climb that is to your liking. BOLD areas are considered 'MUST visit' or 'MAJOR' due to either the amount or quality of routes. If the name contains (OS) the Ordnance Survey Grid reference for the area is given. If you want to convert OS to Lat/Long have a look at http://www.russ-hore.co.uk/osgb/ I have tried to include an altitude so as to give an indication of whether a crag may be below/above feezing level etc I hope that all that use these pages finds them a great resource and easy to view. There are two webcams showing pictures of Ogwen. Safe Climbing.. Russ |
