About Castell Helen(OS):
| A great cliff for the climber who does not want to be frightened! Great rock in a pleasant setting make this the most poopular cliff in the area. About 20 routes, VS to E2, well protected on solid, not too steep rock, about 250 feet tall. The base is semi-tidal, so watch the tide charts to avoid getting wet. |

| Directions: | OS114--GR205/820 2.6 miles WSW of Holyhead. From the car park at South Stack walk south to Helen's Cottage, then right and drop down. To the left is a short rock wall with a rappell anchor. Use this to work your way to the base of the cliff. |
