There is no right of access here and it is with kind permission of the owner that small groups of climbers are allowed to use the quarry. The owner is Mr. Thomas of Bryngwyn Farm from whom permission must be sought to climb. The farm is at the entrance to the drive leading to the rocks. Even though this crag is a quarry, it has the mood of a natural limestone crag with views over the surrounding countryside. It faces west, and at 1,000 feet, catches little of the bad weather compared with other areas to the south and west. The climbs range from 50 to 80 feet tall, with almost 100 total in all grades. The rock is quite clean and sound, as the quarry ceased production in the late 1800s.
