About Pot Hole Quarry(OS):
This quarry is owned by a nearby farm, and the owner had given consent to climbing here as long as the approach is made by the recognized footpath and NO LITTER IS LEFT! A small quarry reaching up to 70 feet in places, with about 40 routes in all grades. The rock is very good, and there are some interesting climbs. |

Directions: | OS116--GR192/597 5.4 miles southwest of Mold. Go southwest on the A494 for five miles to the village of Llanferes, and just before you can see the River Alyn on the left, there is a footpath leading to a footbridge. Continue to the parking spot, then return and take the footpath which leads upstream to a stile and another path leading to the quarry in about 100 yards. |
