About Aran Fawddwy(OS):
| Not a large area, but it does have two 600 foot V DIFFS, both worth a days scramble. One rises up from the south end of the lake, and the other from a gully on the north spur. |

| Directions: | OS124--GR863/224 Nine miles SSE of Bala. Best approached by taking the B4403 from Bala, then the small road south via Bwlch Groes, and then walking up the valley on the right to arrive at Creiglyn Dyfi, the small lake to the east of Aran Fawddwy. Helpful to take a map and compass in case bad weather rolls in and you have difficulty finding your way back. |
