About Craig Cau(OS):
| A very large and rambling 900 foot crag. There is some very good climbing here, but you must be willing to cross some poor rock and scramble to reach it. There are about 35 routes from V DIFF to E4. North facing and vegetated, it needs a long dry spell to really be enjoyable. |

| Directions: | OS124--GR712/122 Five miles SSW of Dolgellau. Park as for Idris Gate Crag. Follow the footpath to the right as it winds along the stream to the lake of Llyn Cau, and you will see the north facing crag ahead of you. |
