About Mynydd Moel(OS):

A good steep crag with little in the way of routes below VS. About 200 feet tall with about ten routes in a nice position, finishing at the top at about 2500 feet. Can be chilly in wet weather, but the setting and views are incredible in the summer.
Nearest town or city: Dolgellau
Directions: OS124--GR728/138 Three miles south of Dolgellau. Find the road going south from Dolgellau to Bwlch Coch, via Wenallt, going up several steep hills. At the end of the road, a path leads to the small lake of Llyn Aran, the source of the Alon Aran, which runs due north into Dolgellau. The crag sits at the top of the screes above the lake.
