About Aber-Mawr Area(OS):
A very good area for the inexperienced climber looking for V DIFFs to VSs. Most of the routes are on slabs, some steepening to walls. Morfa Slabs, at 180 feet, has two VS routes and is midway between the beach at Aber-Mawr and the square cut promontory of Penmorfa, which has several lower grade routes. The next headland west is Trwynllwwnog, which has several VS pitches. Nice routes in a nice setting, well worth the visit. |
