About Clogwyn Yr Eryr (OS):
The best crag in the Llanrwst area. Plenty of climbing here for everyone. A good morning crag if you want the sun, but it can seep a bit so a good dry spell may be necessary, although the harder routes on the aretes dry very quickly. |

Directions: | OS 115 GR SH 733 604 Alt. 406m 5 miles west of Llanrwst. Take the B5106 to Trefriw, turn left and head up the road to Llyn Crafnant. After about 2.5 miles you will reach a lake, carry on to the end and park on the other side of a gate. Walk across the valley and follow a trail into the forest. Turn left to a hairpin bend, then right towards a boulder field which leads up to the Forestry Buttress. The South Buttress is on the left. |
