About Craig Pen Trwyn (OS):
Climbing above the road is not allowed between 9AM and 5PM on Easter, bank holidays, and between July 1st and September 10th. There are also rare plants and flowers on the cliff, so overactive gardening should be avoided. This is one of the classic crags in Wales, maybe in all of the British Isles. The climbing is good and hard, with over 250 routes, 50 to 120 feet long, ranging from VS to E9, with lots of middle Extremes dominating the grade scale. The classics are mostly E5 and up, plus a few in the E2 and E3 range. Some are not so well protected, and all the harder routes are tough. |
