About Crickmail Point [B-Team Buttress](OS):

This is a very good crag, sometimes known as B-Team Buttress. 70 to 160 feet tall with about 35 routes on good, solid rock, and mostly non-tidal. An excellent place for the VS leader, and those aspiring to break into the E-grades. Access is by rappell down the slabs on the west side, and escape is by an easy SEVERE, making this a very friendly spot.
Nearest town or city: St. Govan's
Directions: OS158--GR947/938 From the St. Govan's car park, walk into the range and follow the track past the wire enclosure of Saddle Head, past the next blunt headland, and past The Castle. This point is about a half mile further on and is the last major buttress before the headland curves around at Mewsford. You can recognize it as a big buttress sitting on a 15 degree ramp with a strata line about halfway up the east face.
