About Forbidden Head(OS):

This is a good headland, about 100 feet high, with about 15 routes in the mid-Extremes, and five classic E5s. As with most cliffs in this area, low tide is needed to access the routes, which can be reached by rappell from the east end or by scrambling into the west end. The ends are separated by an easy 110 foot tall wall with a few VS routes. Worth the visit if you watch the tides.
Nearest town or city: Lydstep
Directions: OS158--GR083/973 From the Lydstep car park, follow the footpath leading west down to the caverns, up the next hill and around to a headland with a concrete bunker on it. The next headland is Forbidden Head.
