About Giltar(OS):
This is an excellent area for beginners, on easily angled slabs with hundreds of routes and variations, mostly around V DIFF, and most less than 100 feet long. Low tide makes access easier, though rappelling in is never very hard. The land is in an army firing range, so if you hear lots of big bangs, it might be prudent to stay away from this area. A great area to bring the family or a group of beginners. |
