About Gun Cliff(OS):

A rather broken cliff, but with interesting scenery. About 25 routes up to 120 feet long, graded from HVS to E3. There are some very good routes on the main cliff, and a couple of good Extremes in the zawn of Ramming Hole next to it. A good cliff to visit during nesting season when Mowing Word and Stackpole are off limits.
Nearest town or city: Stackpole
Directions: OS158--GR988/944 From the Stackpole car park, head south up the long hill and over to Dunraven Beach, cross this and then go up the other side. From here, cut across the headland to avoid the peninsula, with Mowing Word Cliffs on the left until the coast is reached. Continue until a large narrow zawn is reached (Ramming Hole), and Gun Cliff will be to the east (left) of this. Descend by scrambling down a ramp to the rappell anchor, or downclimb a DIFF. Access to Ramming Hole is by rappell only.
