About Mother Carey's Kitchen(OS):
| Without a doubt, the best crag at Lydstep! There are no easy routes here, the easiest route out being SEVERE, which is good since a lot of teams bail when they see the cliff from below. There are around 40 routes, spread evenly from VS up to E6, and almost all of them are classics. To the east end is the Space Face, incredibly steep, with some wild routes, and retreat from them would drop you into the sea. Seconds should be experienced on coping with major epics, in the dark, and with high seas running. |

| Directions: | OS158--GR090/975 From the car park at Lydstep, take the path south for 100 yards where a narrow path leads off to the east to the Kitchen in about 300 yards. Descent is via rappell, about 150 feet to a platform at high tide, or a bouldery beach at low tide. All of the routes are accessed from here. |
