About Saddle Head(OS):
This is the cliff for beginners, an upper tier with lots of DIFFS and SEVERES around 60 feet high, and the tip of the point with some good HVSs and E1s. The main cliff, with its low-tide platform, offers some VS climbs in a setting equal to most E4 territory on most sea cliffs. A wonderful place to enjoy the afternoon sun. To the north there are some very good HVS routes approached by rappell down a hole about 100 yards north of the wire enclosure on top of the cliff. |
