About Stackpole Head(OS):

There is a bird restriction here from 1 March to 15 August, except for the west face, 1 March to 1 August. The most climbing, and the best climbing, is on the west face. Most of the routes are about 150 feet long, and are rated VS and above. The climbing is very good, particularly in the E2 and E3 grades, and there is not much harder than that anywhere. An easy day for the hardman, but desperation for the beginner. The base is accessible two hours to either side of low tide, and from a descent ridge to the north of the west face.
