About Craig Bwlch Y Moch (OS):
This is the finest crag in Tremadog, offering some of the most classic routes in the country. A long crag with several buttresses of overhanging rock give about 100 routes in grades from Diff to E7. The showpiece is the Vector Buttress containing amongst other routes, Strawberries on the headwall, which overhangs so much it looks like it will fall off soon! |

Directions: | OS 124 GR SH 577 406 Alt. 38m 1.5 miles NE of Porthmadog. From Tremadog take the A498 East towards Snowdonia, and after one mile park at the old petrol station. Looking at the crags, BYM is on the right and PI is high up on the left. Walk back down the for 100 yards to a scree slope running up to the crags. |
