About Craig Cwm Trwsgl(OS):

Parts of this cliff are seasonally closed for bird nesting, and it is hoped that climbers will be careful not to disturb nests. The climbing is generally good on the smoother parts that make the routes harder. Around ten routes up to 300 feet long, rated from VS to E3, west facing, but at 1400 feet so it can be cold in the winter.
Nearest town or city: Llanfihanger-y-Pennant
Directions: OS115--GR550/494 Five miles southwest of Snowdon in the next range, best approached from the Porthmadog area. Take the A487 west from Tremadog and after 2.5 miles turn right and head for the end of the Cwm Pennant valley, passing through Llanfihanger-y-Pennant. From here, Craig Y Issalt is up on the hillside to the right in about five minutes. Craig Cwm Trwsgl is up at the head of the valley up to the right, about 15 minutes further.
