About Bankhead Buttress:
Approch from a small parking lot right next to a prominant watercourse, about 0.5 km up the Minnewanka road from Banff. Follow the faint trail along the watercourse up the talus to the prominant gully at the south end of the buttress, there may be a small waterfall here and fresh water. Turn left (north) and follow the faint trail up and along the cliff side. ValleyView is at the high point of the trail, please the the tabvar site for the topo. |
