Beautiful day for a climb from Abbott Pass. The Abbott Hut is fabulouse, highly recomend this climb. The West Face is straight forward steep snow climbing. We used running belays with pickets, ice screws and one fixed piton we found on (2/3 up route). Can be done in 4-5 hours round trip from Abbott.
