Incredible late September day, no one around. Got to love these fall days on Yam. Traverse city on the upper pitches with a ton of squirrel piss on the first two pitches. There should be an adjustment to rating for climbing on hardened squirrel urine. Cheers.

This route was a bit of a dissapointment for me, the frist two pitchs are horriable, the 2nd being the worse. Its a lot of climbing for 2 good pitchs, I didnt find it supper complex for route finding, it reminded me of a very poor Forbiden Corner (great route). Haveing a couple of big peices are nice but not super nescery, have at least one #3 for the horrible 2nd pitch. I will not do this route again by the original frist two pitchs.

Yam Red Shirt
Second climb on Yam. First two pitches are so polished, but climbing was awesome after that. Lots of chimney climb, and exposure of last 5.6 pitch is great! Fun!

Ascent Note
pitch 4 is a down climb .. the leader should untie at the 2 anchors (after the short traverse) and thread the rope through the quick link .. the second then downclimbs and unties at the belay to pull the rope.
