The Rectory
About The Rectory:
The second wall on your left when descending into the canyon from the dam. Has the most .12's of all the walls in Grassi. The routes here are extremely well bolted, almost to a fault. Catches sun in morning and early afternoon. Like all walls in Grassi, it can be very windy, so warm clothing is needed even on seemingly pleasant days. The climbs here have also seen their fair share of traffic, so be prepared for some sketchy foot-placements at times. All in all, an excellent place to brake into the 5.12 grade. |
