About Grotto Mountain Ice:

Good grade 3, 30m route about 1.5hrs up from Rat's Nest Cave hike.
Approach: Park as for Rat's Nest. Hike up left side of the ridge above canyon on good cairned trail for 1.5hrs to the ice which is seen from one spot along the highway, especially when the snow melts.
