About Kootenay Plains:
Good sport climbing and single pitch trad climbing. All the way from 5.7 to 5.11. There are a few sport climbs but most of the climbs are designed for someone to put an anchor on rap then climb out the top. To get to the the top follow the trails past the outhouse on the far west side of the area. The trails will take you up and along the base of all the climbs as well as if you stick to the left you'll find a crack that you can walk up to set the anchors. |
