About Ghost River Valley:

Involved 4wd approach to the best rock in the area. Huge valleys of limestone walls from 25m to 600m high. The area is backcountry and a little remote in it feel. A rugged vehicle is needed to ford rivers and bump along trails.

Access Issues: SRD has currently prohibited river crossings in the north Ghost. CASA is working to restore access and has two proposals submitted for review. A study, environmental reviews, and some bridge building will likely be required for vehicular access. In the meantime, access by foot remains open.
