About Mt. Waddington:
Mt. Waddington and its neighboring peaks are huge and remote. First extensively explored by Don and Phyllis Munday, Mt. Waddington became one of the most sought-after virgin Canadian peaks in the early to mid 20th century. The "easiest" route, Bravo Glacier/Southeast Chimney, is comparable to climbing Mt. Rainier, summiting, and heading up a multi-pitch rock climb on top of that. |

Directions: | Whitesaddle Air Service out of Tatla Lake offers helecopter transport to various parts of the Waddington Range. The pilot, Mike King, is a fountain of information on the ins and outs of climbing here. Other options include the classic thrash from Knight Inlet, an epic Canadian journey that re-defines the term "Bushwack". |
